Benua Keling

Benua Keling was originally founded by a few members in one particular Discord server. It is a place where they gather to enjoy their cheerful moment together. There a several place that took the word Benua Keling for example; Putrajaya, Bangi, Shah Alam, Puchong, Penang, Melaka and Johor Bahru. There will be more place to come as they decided to expand the Benua Keling territory by the end of 2035. The word "Benua" was took from Indian language which means "Old" in Malay. While the word "Keling" was also took from Indian people in Malaysia which often use to describe a good personality person. With the two words combine, it means Old Keling which translate into a good old person.

While the word "Benua" was not oftenly use by people, the word "Keling" was oftenly used by people around Malaysia and Singapore. It is consider as a racist slur that was meant for black and dark person from India. It was used to be a hate of speech but nowadays, people use it as a way to compliment each other. It is often used as a way to express love and positive vibes towards others and sometime used by person who doesn't care about their morality and future like me.

Culture

Keling is very meaningful to many people, but very less people likely used it. It’s like a rare Pokémon but you got to be careful where you throw it. Sometimes we use it among our racer circle especially when there are no "dark type" people around. Not because we’re scared. It's for our safety reasons. Imagine dropping that word in the wrong crowd, next thing you know, you’re getting smacked in the face or having your ears blasted by some next level speaker of their cars.
